Andy Murray says goodbye at Queen's after losing to Berrettini
Italian Matteo Berrettini cut short Andy Murray's progression at Queen's and knocked him out of the pre-Wimbledon tournament 6-3, 6-3.
The Scotsman, who won his first grass-court match in three years this week, has not had two wins at the ATP level since August 2020, when he reached the third round of the Cincinnati Masters 1,000.
Murray was unable to do anything against the number one seed in the tournament and is eliminated from Queen's, where he won five times, most recently in 2016, the year he was crowned number one in the world.

The Italian, who placed fourteen direct aces, will face British Dan Evans in the quarterfinals, who beat Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 6-4, 7-6 (7).
With his time at Queen's over, Murray could play in Eastbourne or continue his training at the All England Club, where Wimbledon will begin in eleven days.
The Scotsman has an invitation to the third Grand Slam of the year, in what will be his first appearance since losing in the quarterfinals in 2017.
