The clothing and footwear brands that invest in advertising in Spain
Ir de «shopping» para comprar ropa y calzado es la afición favorita de muchos españoles, a quienes no hay que espolear demasiado para abrir de par en par la cartera y entregarse a los placeres de la moda (en particular de la «fast fashion»).
Perhaps that is why the textile bouquet is not among the most dadive investing in advertising in our country (much less in the last year, when brands of all kinds and condition put a strong dyejeretazo to their advertising budgets).
According to Infoadex data collected by the Magazine Ads, in 2020 the textile sector disbursed 31.7 million euros in advertising in Spain, 24.5% less than during the previous year.
And only six of the ten textile companies that invest in advertising in Spain. They can have budgets exceeding one million euros.
At the head of advertising investment in the textile branch in our country is the American firm of Skechers footwear, which last year allocated 1.9 million euros to advertising spending (26.5% less than in 2019).
It follows Skechers the company specialized in clothing and footwear or Group, which in 2020 increased its advertising investment by 2.4% to reach 1.6 million euros.

Share podium with Skechers and U Group the American multinational Levi Strauss, which last year made a disbursement of 1.6 million euros in advertising (-54.5%)
The fourth place on the list is for Ro Fashion Group (the company that markets in Spain the Bluemarine textile brand), which last year gave a very fortune of 1,480.4% to its advertising investment (valued at 1.5 millioneuros).
The fifth place is for the Adidas sports firm, which in 2020 cut in 47.4% its advertising expense in Spain.The German company last year an advertising dispensation of 1.3 million euros.

For its part, International Book Club (which has a specialized area in the textile branch) occupies the sixth position with an investment of 1.1 million euros (-55%).
The seventh place is for Hergar shoe (the marriage of brands such as Callaghan or Gorila), whose expense collapsed in 2020 37.1% until reaching 827,960.8 euros
Decathlon gets eighth place with an advertising investment in 2020 of 823,242 (-19.4%).

Guess Apparel, who spent 779,654.1 euros (+23.9%) in advertising, to the ninth place.
The Top 10 is completed by the company specialized in accessories distribution for Sempere Solutions events, which in 2020 made an advertising investment of 754,988.1 euros.
