Six tricks to open your car without key -- Autobild.es
Don't worry, the thieves already know these six tricks to open your car without a key, so we're not going to find anything new to them. Our intention is the opposite: that you can access your vehicle if you have lost your keys, left them inside or extreme caution so that you are not a victim of friends of others.
An important note before we go on: the eight tricks we give you only work on old cars, of which they have the 'safe' at the door.
1. With the shoelaces of your shoes
This method only works on doors that open by pulling up the lock, in the rest it does not work.
You'll have to tie a small loop in the middle of the shoelace that can be tightened, then work the chain on the door, pull the narrow mechanism around the lock, and pull it up.
2. With a clamp of clothes
Get your soul out of McGever because to open your car with a clamp of clothes, you'll need a wire hook that you can untangle and make a hook that goes inside the burlete in the window.
From here, you just have to shake it around until you find the locking mechanism.
It may take some time, but it's worth the trouble when you're desperate. This method works with horizontal locks as well.
3. With a screwdriver
All you need is a screwdriver, a steel bar and 30 seconds. In fact, any long instrument is going to do the same function, so depending on the amount of junk out there, you may be able to find a good substitute.
But keep in mind that the use of any metal object to remove the open door can cause damage to your exterior and interior, so be careful with this method.
4. With an inflatable wedge
Using an inflatable wedge, you will avoid damaging the paint in your car and using the air to force the door open in front of a metal object, such as the screwdriver.
Once the wedge creates enough space for an access tool, all you need is patience and a precise hand.
5. With a plastic strip
Apart from the inflatable wedge, it is also recommended to use an old piece of plastic to do the job.
It is practically just a long plastic strap that folds in half and slides through the door slit. This method works for "stretch" locks.
6. With a tennis ball
In one of the coolest (and most debated) methods to unlock a car door. You'll have to make a hole in the ball, so an electric drill or a screwdriver would do the trick. Place the tennis ball, with the hole over the top of the keyhole, and push.
The pressure created on the ball will force your car to unlock. This tennis ball method has more than a million views on YouTube, but is that what really works?
