Sepiia preview: a new 'laboratory' of sustainable garments and a jacket that always smells good
"Innovative, sustainable, timeless and durable, made in Spain and Portugal". That is the definition given by Federico Sainz de Robles, the CEO of Sepiia, about his garments. The company, a 100% circular Spanish fashion company that designs men's and women's clothing with recycled and sustainable materials, has opened a brand space that offers an innovative experience to its visitors: it allows them to experiment and test textile technology for themselves of the signature.
“We study the needs of users in their day to day to see how to provide greater comfort and functionality, always respecting the environment. We design our garments from the origin (the raw material) to the finishes, so that they keep pace for a long time”, defends Sainz de Robles. His company continues to advance in the development of its range of products with Windbreaker, the first jacket designed by the brand inspired by North American workwear whose properties are anti-wrinkle, anti-stain, breathable and highly resistant. The fabric is antibacterial, offers thermoregulation and anti-odour function to its users.

The jacket is formed by the union of Coolmax on the inside of the fabric and T400 thread on the outside: "T400 is a very special type of polyester that generates great comfort thanks to its elasticity and enormous resistance to abrasion without having to mix materials.” “We want you to be able to wear our clothes for years; we design them timeless. On the other hand, they are all recyclable, since we use monomaterials. In the end, you can send us the garments and we will take care of recycling them to give them a new life”, defines the businessman.
A place to experience
Sepiia has opened its first physical brand location, which is not just a store. Recently opened at 102 Hortaleza Street, Espacio Sepiia moves its particular universe. “We are a digital native brand and we were looking forward to having our own space where we could physically interact with customers. Opening a new point of sale was our next step to continue growing. We wanted to create a place where customers receive a different experience”, says Sainz de Robles.
Visitors will be able to purchase the objects and access the Sepiia Laboratory, a corner where they will see for themselves the efficiency: “It is a place where customers can test our technology and even see the thread of our garments under a microscope so that you can better understand how it works.
