Miley Cyrus suffers wardrobe malfunction in New Year's special

Miley Cyrus almost showed more skin than she intended on New Year's Eve.

Friday saw the 29-year-old Musician host a television special to ring in the New Year called "Miley's New Year's Party," which also included musical performances by the star.

While performing onstage, Cyrus wore a small silver top that began to fade away as she sang "We Can't Stop. «

Cyrus then moved on to her song "Party in the USA", though the performance didn't last long as she had to quickly grab her top to keep it from falling off.

The star ran offstage as her band and backing vocalists continued to perform.

When the star returned to the stage moments later, she was no longer wearing the silver top, but instead a bright red blazer she had worn that night.

"I always wear the most clothes I've ever worn on stage," she added between the words to "Party in the USA" when she resumed her voice.
