Colonel entrepreneurs graduate in program to climb their businesses in Biobío

The initiative “I can!Entrepreneurship ”seeks to professionalize the businesses of formal and informal entrepreneurs of the commune of Colonel, with 24 participants and 13 graduates, who presented their projects before entrepreneurs in the area.

This program has its origin in the analysis of the latest three versions of the Capital Semilla Contest I undertake Colonel, which promotes the CEC, where you can see a low percentage of women in the final instances and in the award of the awards, considering thatThey are 70% of the initial applications.

“It was this situation that demonstrated an important weakness by these entrepreneurial women in the application for public or private funds.From there we build this program called Yo I can, which seeks to strengthen its entrepreneurship projects, ”explains Claudio Inzunza, director of the Colbún Coronel Entrepreneurship Center.

The “I can!Entrepreneurship ”departed some tips to improve the management of emotions of entrepreneurs as a way of strengthening their attitude towards the difficulties that are usually presented in development every entrepreneurship.

“They were also taught to improve the design of their business models, emphasizing the importance of adding greater value to the market.Likewise, they were explained the benefits of formalization of a basic business and accounting, finishing the program with advice to apply for public or private financing funds, ”adds Inzunza.

One of the participants was Ivannia Fernández, designer and manufacturer of the area, who develops her venture called "Luna", in which he performs personalized flasks, accessories and cosplay clothing.For her it was a great experience to be able to participate in the "I can" program.

“It was very enriching, because there are many details that as a natural person are ignored even not knowing what funds to be able to postulate, how to do it or how to enhance my brand in a comprehensive way.The "I can" program helps to solve all those pugs and with the first classes of self -control of emotions even more since they focused purely on the emotional part of the woman, which sometimes is set aside, ”adds Ivannia.
