The original uniform of Canada for the closing of the Tokyo Games: "They are in their twenties at a brunch"
Canada is one of the countries that best knows how to laugh at itself and give it a sense of pride, and the latest example is the uniform they have chosen for the closing ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.
The Olympic Committee of the North American country and Hudson's Bay, the official brand that dresses them, have opted for the 'Canadian Tuxedo', or Canadian tuxedo, to dress their athletes in one of the two parades of the next Olympic event. Basically it is a denim jacket full of graffiti, patches and details in homage to Canada, the city of Tokyo and the Games themselves, with flags, logos and messages everywhere.
As explained by the CAC, this particular uniform "celebrates inclusion and gender neutrality while capturing the youthful and celebratory feeling of the closing ceremonies."
Radically opposite is the uniform of its neighbors in the United States, designed by Ralph Lauren, which opts for a more sober and elitist style.
Love that I googled how to boil sweet potatoes (just in case there was important advice so I didn't blow up the kit… https://t.co/tNHRFdmfA1
