Art becomes the big bet of the low cost brands

Trends

Bershka has just launched a collection with which he wants to transfer artistic culture to the younger public.

Drafting

Baroque art has taken over Bershka's new collection. The firm wanted to surprise its customers with a line in which the trend of the year and quarantine are still the protagonists, but this time they are not designed in neutral tones, but they have printed several works of the baroque era.

The 'Art Series' capsule collection aims to bring art and culture closer to the 'target' of the Inditex brand, that is, to the younger audience. Thanks to this bet customers can discover the impressive paintings of artists such as Rafael, Pietro da Cortona and Luca Giordano.

El arte se convierte en la gran apuesta de las marcas ‘low cost’

Bershka has translated works such as' Galatea's triumph'in garments that stand out for their comfort and versatility, ideal to wear both at home and to go out on the street. Hooded sweatshirts, jogger pants, T-shirts, cropped tops, shorts or overcoats with some of the pieces that can already be purchased on the firm's website.

With prices ranging from 5.99 to 29.99 euros, the line also features smartphone covers and fabric masks for young people to take out their most artistic side. Bershka has also collaborated with digital artist Johanna Jaskowska to create special Instagram filters.

In March 2019 Zara was also encouraged with a capsule collection to celebrate the bicentennial of the Prado Museum. The different garments had printed some of the most iconic works of museum space, such as Velázquez 's' Las Meninas'.
